Pakistan bounce back against Barbados as Aqeel wins

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Barbados were level 1-1 going into the second day of the Davis Cup World Group II tie at the National Centre Bridgetown (Barbados) following opening day proceedings.
Darian King gave no chance to Muhammad Shoaib during his 6-3, 6-0 win while Pakistan recovered through Aqeel Khan who defeated Kaipo Marshall 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to draw level. The match lasted for two hours and fifteen minutes.
The second day’s doubles followed by reverse singles got underway late Sunday evening (PST).
