The true gravity, dimensions and dangers of our economic crisis are not fully appreciated by many in the corridors of power. The causes of this worsening crisis are a multitude of internal weaknesses, serious financial irregularities in different sectors, a volatile external environment and climate change.
The rulers also seem to lack political will and vigour to solve this problem.
