ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers have been made in the federal bureaucracy.
Ali Tahir, a BS 21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service awaiting appointment, has been appointed Secretary, National Food Security and Research Division.
Sarfaraz Khan, a grade 20 officer of Police Service posted in FIA, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division. Muhammad Jameel, Joint Secretary Finance Division and a grade-20 officer of the Secretariat Group, has been transferred as Joint Secretary, Climate Change Division. Tariq Aleem, a grade 19 officer of the Cabinet Division and Secretariat Group, has been transferred as OSD. National Heritage Executive Director Muhammad Uzair Khan has resigned from his post. The federal government has accepted his resignation, effective from September 1. National Heritage Division Joint Secretary Muzaffar Barki has been assigned the additional charge of ED. The services of grade 17 officer of the Information Group, Alishba Tajwar, have been assigned to Ravi Urban Development Authority Punjab.
