Asad likely to be made CMO

Islamabad: The federal government is likely to notify Asad Kiani as chief metropolitan officer (CMO) in the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) on Friday (today).
It will be the first appoint against a senior post in the IMC.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has agreed to release Asad Kiani, who at present is acting as director general (design) in the CDA Planning Wing.
Islamabad Mayor Shaikh Ansar Aziz had desired to acquire services of the CDA officer for the senior post in the IMC. More officers from the CDA are likely to be posted in IMC in coming days.
