Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, while congratulating Pakistan Peoples Party candidate Makhdoom Tahir Rasheed on his victory in NA-171 Rahim Yar Khan, stated that the PTI has suffered a significant defeat in the by-elections in NA-171.
In a statement issued on Friday, he said that in the by-elections, there was no opportunity for anyone to make accusations based on Form 45 and Form 47. Memon said that the victory of Makhdoom Tahir Rasheed is proof that the people of Punjab have embraced the vision and leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Under his leadership, the Pakistan Peoples Party will put an end to the politics of hatred, division, and baseless accusations across the country, paving the way for unity and progress, he added.
The senior minister stated that the PPP leadership seeks to involve everyone in addressing the challenges faced by the nation. The historic victory of the Peoples Party in NA-171 marks the beginning of a new era of positive and constructive politics in Pakistan, he remarked.
He said the victory of PPP candidate Makhdoom Tahir Rasheed in NA-171 is a clear endorsement of the vision, leadership, and pro-people policies of the party in Punjab. The people of Rahim Yar Khan have once again placed their trust in the arrow as a symbol of hope, progress, and commitment to democracy, he added.
Memon said that under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the PPP has been working tirelessly to protect the rights of the common man and improve the conditions of marginalized communities. With the dynamic leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President Asif Ali Zardari, we will continue our journey to make Pakistan a more prosperous and just nation, he said.
He said the PPP will stand with the people, striving for development, stability, and a bright future for all.
