PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday signed the summary to de-notify Mashal Yousafzai as adviser to the chief minister.

A summary to de-notify Mashal Yousafzai, a worker of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, was sent by the provincial government to the governor many days back.

The governor approved the summary and de-notified Mashal as adviser in the KP cabinet. She was serving as adviser to the chief minister on social welfare before the government decided to remove her from cabinet.

The other day the governor had returned the summary for appointment of the sixth adviser in the KP cabinet.

The governor in his remarks on the summary stated that the chief minister cannot appoint more than five advisers under Section 130(11) of the Constitution. The summary was returned to the KP government.

The KP governor approves the summary of appointment of advisers in the provincial cabinet when it is sent by the chief minister.
