Speaker forms special committee
Committee will discuss, analyze and firm up recommendations concerning issues related to parliament, parliamentarians, Constitution, Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in NA
ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq Wednesday constituted a special committee in the context of a motion passed by the National Assembly under Rule 244 (B) of the Rules and Procedures of the National Assembly, 2007.
The committee will discuss, analyze and firm up recommendations concerning the issues related to parliament, parliamentarians, Constitution, Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007 and smooth functioning of parliament.
According to a circular issued by the National Assembly Secretariat, the committee will include federal ministers Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Abdul Aleem Khan, Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah and Syed Naveed Qamar from the PPP, Syed Aminul Haq of MQM-Pakistan, Muhammad Ejazul Haq of PML-Zia, Khalid Hussain Magsi of BNP, Paulin of NP, Sahibzada Muhammad Hamid Raza and Gohar Ali Khan from the PTI-backed SIC, Shahida Begum of JUIF, Muhammad Akhtar Mengal of BNP (Mengal), Hameed Hussain of MWMP and Mahmood Khan Achakzai of PkMAP.
