BISE Swat unveils HSSC exam results

MINGORA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Swat, on Wednesday announced the results of the FA and FSc annual examinations for 2024.

According to the results, Hafiz Ali, a student of Tipu Model School and College, Kabal Swat, with roll number 433525, secured the first position by scoring 1132 marks.Junaid Khan from Government Degree College Mingora, roll number 432880, secured second place with 1125 marks, while Sarah Ali from Swat Public School and College Mingora, roll number 476103, claimed third place with 1121 marks.

In the Pre-Engineering Group, Muhammad Basheer Khan from Cadet College Swat, roll number 450631, secured first place with 1061 marks. Farooq Shah of Government Higher Secondary School, Fatehpur Swat, came second with 1058 marks, while Hanuzla Javed of Cadet College Swat, secured third position with 1045 marks.

For the Computer Science group, Farhad Khan of Government Degree College, Mingora, earned the top position with 1081 marks. Syed Rizwan Shah secured second place with 994 marks, and Muneeza from Government Postgraduate Girls College, Saidu Sharif Swat, ranked third with 990 marks.

In the Arts Group, Saifullah from Government Mudassir Khan Shaheed Higher Secondary School, Kabal Swat, roll number 475042, topped with 1021 marks. Sajid Zareen from Government Degree College Dagar, Buner, followed with 1006 marks, and Mujallah Nawaz from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Buner, secured third position with 987 marks.

A total of 21,465 students appeared in the Part I Medical Group exams, of which 14,887 passed, resulting in a 69.35% success rate.In the Pre-Engineering Group, 1,269 students appeared, with 524 passing, making the success rate 41.12%. The Computer Science group had 2,248 participants, with 839 passing and a 37.32% success rate, while the Arts group saw 7,302 candidates, with 4,234 passing and a 57.98% success rate.

In Part II, 23,406 students took the Medical Group exams, with 21,691 passing, yielding a success rate of 92.67%. In the Pre-Engineering Group, 1,377 students appeared, of which 1,132 passed, bringing the success rate to 82.21%. The Computer Science Group had 1,675 candidates, with 1,336 passing, resulting in a 79.78% success rate. The Arts group saw 7,519 participants, with 6,396 passing and a success rate of 85.66%.

Overall, in Part I, 32,284 students appeared in the exams, with 20,484 passing, leading to a 63.45% success rate. In Part II, 33,977 students participated, with 30,555 passing, resulting in an overall success rate of 89.93%.
