Case registered against social media activist
NOWSHERA: The police registered a case against a social media activist for spreading hatred and using derogatory words against the institutions.
One Muhammad Imran, a resident of Wazir Garhi, told the Pabbi police that the accused, Zahid Hussain, a resident of Mohalla Miangan in Taru Jabba, was continuously using inappropriate language against Army Chief Asim Munir and the army on his Facebook account.
He said that the accused was spewing venom against the army and other institutions via his Facebook account, which was unbearable for the complainant.
He claimed the accused was trying to create hatred against institutions and incite the public against them.The Pabbi police registered the first case of digital terrorism against Zahid Hussain under sections 159, 153A, 123, and 505, and launched an investigation.
