I would like to highlight an issue regarding the BRT Orange Line in Karachi. Despite Banaras Town being a large neighbourhood with high passenger demand, there is no station in the area. Due to this gap in the Orange Line, a lot of commuters are forced to forgo utilizing the BRT. This undermines the local administration’s efforts to encourage mass transit.
The addition of a stop at Banaras Town will help ensure the BRT is fully utilized, relieve local traffic and increase the number of facilities available to the local community. I implore the relevant authorities to consider this matter.
