Tayyab Ikram set for second term as FIH president

ISLAMABAD: Tayyab Ikram is all set to be elected President International Hockey Federation (FIH) for the second consecutive tenure in the office as he is the only candidate to have submitted his candidature for the coveted post

The FIH has confirmed the nominations received by the deadline of 31 August 2024 (midnight CET) for the positions to be elected by the National Associations that are members of the FIH at the 49th FIH Statutory Congress on 9 November 2024.

The FIH Elections Oversight Panel (EOP) has completed its assessment of all the candidates nominated for the positions of FIH President and FIH Ordinary Executive Board Members and has determined that all nominations submitted meet the required standards and criteria.

The EOP will supervise all the election process during the Congress. The aim of the EOP is to ensure that the FIH elections are carried out in a fair and transparent manner consistent with the FIH Statutes, Integrity Code, Elections Manual and General Regulations.

B: For the 2 positions of FIH Ordinary Executive Board Member female:

1.Danae Andrada Barrios (URU)

2.Katrin Kauschke (GER)

3.Hazel Kennedy (ZAM)
