ISLAMABAD: An staff of the Supreme Court was arrested for allegedly stealing two computers from the apex court’s IT section, police said.
A case has been registered at the Secretariat Police Station following a complaint by the SC’s IT director. According to the case details, CCTV footage revealed suspicious activities involving two employees, Zahid Iqbal and Faisal Khan. Zahid Iqbal is reportedly the driver of the chief justice’s secretary.
Police registered the case on September 6 and arrested Zahid Iqbal, while raids are ongoing to apprehend Faisal Khan, who is employed as a peon at the Supreme Court, sources added.
