KARACHI: The Pakistan Sports Board has asked the Normalisation Committee to resubmit the NOC request for the SAFF U17 Championship to be played in Bhutan this month with complete and proper documentation.
Reliable sources have confirmed that the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is facing a roadblock in obtaining the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for the SAFF Under-17 Championship. The PSB has deferred the NOC and instructed the PFF to resubmit the application with complete documentation.
Sources said the PFF had submitted a letter to the PSB on August 22, requesting the NOC. However, the PSB informed the PFF via email on September 6 that the application was submitted late and wasn’t according to the timeframe set for such applications.
The PSB stated the request also lacked the mandatory signatures of the PFF Chairman. The PSB’s email also said that only the signatures of the Chairman of the Normalisation Committee would be acceptable.
