Passenger bites off driver’s ear over Rs20

PARACHINAR: A bizarre incident occurred in Parachinar city when a passenger bit off a van driver’s ear following a dispute over Rs20.The police arrested the suspect, Wahab Ali, after the incident.

The driver, Amjad Ali, filed a complaint at Parachinar Police Station stating that he had picked up Wahab Ali and a woman passenger from the city and dropped them off at the College Colony. Upon reaching the destination, the passenger paid Rs100 and demanded Rs20 in change. When the driver refused, Wahab Ali attacked him, biting off his ear.The injured was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital, Parachinar. The police arrested Wahab Ali on the complaint of the injured.
