Teachers want Edwardes College board directives honoured

PESHAWAR: The 14th meeting of the Board of Governors of Edwardes College Peshawar is scheduled to be held on Tuesday while the teachers association has convened its own meeting today (Monday) to discuss certain issues and convey reservations to the board.
The faculty members of the college believe that the college administration is not honouring the board’s directives.They said the board in its meeting held on August 2 with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor in the chair had directed the college administration to hold an independent third party audit of its accounts.The board in its last meeting had expressed concerns over the financial transparency of the college accounts.
