DI Khan to have greenfield airport

Some 1,817 acres of private land will be acquired for construction of infrastructure of the airport and related facilities

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Airports Authority has decided to establish a greenfield airport in Dera Ismail Khan.

Some 1,817 acres of private land will be acquired for construction of infrastructure of the airport and related facilities. This land is located in Mouza Yark and Glutty.

Additional Director Estate and Land Zahid Naeem has written a formal letter to Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan for land acquisition.

The Board of Pakistan Airports Authority has directed that Section 4 of Land Acquisition Act 1894 should be implemented for land acquisition.
