Army wins national marathon

PESHAWAR: Muhammad Qasim of the Pakistan Army won the national marathon race and clinched the trophy.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur inaugurated the national marathon race, in which over 3,000 racers participated. Muhammad Qasim clinched first position while Akhtar Nawaz and Ali stood second and third, respectively. The racers covered 25 kilometer distance.
Later, Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Syed Fakhar Jehan awarded trophies and prizes to the position holders.
