ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will announce today (Friday) its judgment in intra-court appeals (ICAs) filed by the federal government and three provincial governments against its judgment declaring some of the amendments to the National Accountability Ordinance (NAO) 1999 unconstitutional.
A five-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and comprising Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi will announce the verdict in the appeals against its judgment delivered on September 15, 2023.
The bench on June 6 had reserved the verdict in the ICAs and granted a week for the submission of further written arguments by the parties concerned.
