RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Thursday commended the innovative employment concepts and structural reforms aimed at enhancing the deterrence regime. He was briefed here on the recently concluded Army War Game and operational readiness of the army across the full spectrum of threat.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Chief of the Army Staff General Asim Munir and senior military officials were in attendance. The prime minister expressed satisfaction over the army’s operational preparedness, acknowledging the armed forces pivotal role in maintaining strategic stability in the region.The military leadership reaffirmed its unwavering resolve to safeguard the national sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said.
Meanwhile, addressing ‘Agay Barho’, a Google for Pakistan event in Islamabad, prime minister urged the IT experts to come up with their strategies and plans to achieve the target of $25 billion dollars exports in next five years.
