Two-year-old boy’s body retrieved from Lyari River

The body of a toddler who had drowned was retrieved on Thursday from the Lyari River in the Sohrab Goth area of Karachi.

According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122, when they received the information about a two-year-old child, Hameedullah, falling into the Lyari River on Wednesday evening, a rescue team and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene immediately, but the body could not be retrieved then. The child's body was found on Thursday.
