ISLAMABAD: The federal government has established a special cabinet committee to regulate the foreign funding of domestic and international NGOs.
Minister of Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazir Tarar will be the convener of the six-member committee. The other members would include secretaries of the Economic Affairs Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Finance Division and Ministry of Law and Justice.
The committee will review the channels through which national and international NGOs receive foreign funding.
