JUIF gets office-bearers

MANSEHRA: Maulana Akhtar Rehman Hazarvi and Maulana Samiullah were elected district head and general secretary of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl in Torghar in the intra-party elections held in Judbah on Wednesday.

“The elections for offices of district head and general secretary are held in a peaceful and friendly environment and newly elected office bearers also took oath of their slots afterwards,” Maulana Ahmad Ali Darwash, the head of JUI-F Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Election Committee’ told reporters in Judbah following the voting.

The voting, which started at around 10 am, continued till noon without any interval in a peaceful and friendly environment and no untoward incident was reported during the entire process.
