ISLAMABAD: The nomination of an additional 22 officers for the mandatory Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) for promotion from Grades 18 to 19 in the federal and provincial bureaucracy has been cancelled.
According to a letter sent by the Establishment Division to the Rector of National School of Public Policy Lahore, the nomination of nine officers from the Pakistan Administrative Service has been cancelled.
These officers include Bushra Iqbal from Islamabad Administration, Quratul Ain Malik, Deputy Commissioner Chakwal, Wasim Hamid, Deputy Commissioner Multan, Hassan Waqas Cheema, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, Sharjeel Noor, Deputy Commissioner Larkana, Irfan Salam, Deputy Commissioner Malir, Altaf Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur, Secretary Finance Division Shehryar Ahmed and Deputy Secretary Establishment S&GA Department Punjab Government Hina Arshad.
Additionally, the nomination of eight officers from the Police Service of Pakistan has also been canceled. The officers are Additional Security Officer to Prime Minister Muhammad Imran and police officers Dost Muhammad, Muhammad Hashim, Muhammad Omar Khan, Muhammad Shoaib, Ata-ur-Rehman, Fahad Khan and Ayesha Butt.
Furthermore, the nomination of Mrs Atiqa Ammar Bukhari, Muhammad Fareedon and Hafiz Shehzad Masood from the Office Management Group, Munir Aziz from the Postal Group and Deputy Director Huda Khalid from the Directorate of Cross Border Currency Movement, Islamabad, has been cancelled.
The course, which started on August 19, is ongoing simultaneously in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad and Quetta and will continue until October 25, 2024.
