ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to recover missing citizen Faizan till Thursday and present him before it.

Justice Babar Sattar also ordered making ISI respondent in the recovery petition. It also directed the ISI sector commander to assist IG Islamabad.

The judge also directed the IG Islamabad to trace the phone number of the abducted person and his vehicle. The petition seeking the recovery of a missing citizen Faizan Usman came up for hearing on Tuesday. According to the petitioner, 10-15 people came to his house, forcibly entered the house and searched it.

There was no policeman among them. Afterwards, they went to my institute where they were directed to switch off the cameras, the petitioner said and added despite repeated requests for their identification, they did not provide any.

They kept visiting my house and institute for two days.

They repeatedly inquired about the connections of his son, Faizan, with his brother-in-law who is allegedly affiliated with a proscribed organisation.

They asked my son, Faizan about jehad who told them he was only a student and has nothing to do with it besides Jehad having to be state-sanctioned.

Later they took him away. My son-in-law is also missing after he was abducted earlier. They warned me against going to the law or the media about the disappearance of his son.

The tearful mother told the court that it had been two months since they abducted her son Faizan and had not returned him so far despite several requests and visits to their offices.

The court inquired how the petitioner contacted them. He replied that they received a phone call from an unknown number.

The petitioner told the court that they have the footage of the double cabins and some private vehicles that took away their son. They had Quetta number plates.

They also took away some books, a laptop, two iPhones and a DVR from the institute. We have made a defence ministry respondent. The court while ordering to recover the abducted person adjourned the hearing till Thursday.
