Passengers, truckers looted in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Around 16 armed robbers blocked the road and looted passengers and truckers in the limits of Yarak Police Station on Tuesday.
Said Khan, 34, a resident of Quetta, told the police that he was a driver of a passenger bus and was going to Quetta from Islamabad.He said that armed robbers stole their vehicle and looted the passengers near Abdulkhel Toll Plaza on the CPEC route in the jurisdiction of Yarak Police Station.
The complainant said that robbers snatched cash, watches, mobile phone sets and other valuables from the passengers and fled the scene.Meanwhile, the looted passengers, drivers and truckers blocked the CPEC Road near Yarak Interchange for vehicular traffic and demanded action against the robbers.
