Six die in road accidents

LAHORE:The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,284 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.
In these accidents, six people died, whereas 1,370 were injured. Out of these, 542 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 828 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
Three POs among four arrested
Lahore police arrested four criminals, including three proclaimed offenders here on Tuesday. Harbanspura police arrested a drug pusher named Adnan and recovered 1.46 kg charas from his possession. Lohari Gate Investigation police arrested three proclaimed offenders from Faisalabad. The accused were identified as Riaz, Imran and Ashraf.
