7 men kidnapped from DI Khan released

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Seven kidnapped persons, including four security guards of a bank and three Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel were released through the hectic efforts by the Tank Amn Committee on Monday.

The armed men had kidnapped four security guards of a private bank from Dera Ismail Khan on July 9 last and later three FC men were abducted from Kot Azam on August 21 last.Soon after the kidnapping incidents, the members of Tank Amn Committee launched efforts to secure the release of kidnapped persons.

The efforts of the peace body bore fruit and it secured the release of the kidnapped four security guards of a bank and three FC men.It may be mentioned that relatives of the kidnapped security guards had staged a strong protest for the recovery of their near and dear ones and had warned of self-immolation in case of non-recovery of kidnapped persons.
