LAHORE:Officials of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), National Central Bureau (NCB), Interpol, and Immigration arrested a fugitive at Lahore airport on Monday.
According to an FIA spokesman, Fahad Mahmood had been evading arrest for 16 years in a murder case. The authorities detained him when he was about to flee to Greece. A murder case was filed against him at the cantonment police station in Gujranwala. The FIA, NCB and Interpol had issued a red notice for his arrest and the FIA (immigration) authorities handed him over to the Punjab Police.
