LAHORE: The Gaddafi Stadium upgradation project is in full swing, with the construction of an underground water tank and steel fixing work now underway in the stadium’s basement. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi conducted a detailed inspection of the site to review progress and ensure that work is proceeding as planned.
During his visit, Naqvi closely examined the ongoing construction and directed the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe. Emphasising the importance of adhering to deadlines, Naqvi instructed that the steel fixing work be expedited.
Following his on-site inspection, Naqvi chaired a meeting at the FWO camp office, where he was briefed on the progress of the upgradation project. He urged NESPAK to finalise and deliver the necessary drawings to FWO as soon as possible, underscoring the urgency of completing the stadium upgrade before the ICC Champions Trophy.
