ISLAMABAD: The participants of Gaza March, including Jamaat-e-Islami’s Mushtaq Ahmed, were detained by the Islamabad Police on Saturday.
Former senator Mushtaq Ahmed was detained from D Chowk and the head of Gaza Rescue Campaign and his wife were also detained by the police.
Police said that Mushtaq Ahmed was detained from the D Chowk for violation of Section 144.
It should be noted that Mushtaq Khan had held a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on June 22, after which he announced to end the 41-day ‘Save the Gaza’ sit-in.
