RAWALPINDI: Taskin Ahmad who celebrated his Test return by picking three wickets said he really enjoyed bowling at the Pindi Stadium and there was no better moment than to see Abdullah Shafique’s wicket cartwheeling in his very first over.
“I enjoyed bowling here. My return to Test cricket was really enjoyable. Though I am still not in the best of rhythm I feel I got what I wanted here and that was a few wickets. Hope to be in the best of shape in the second innings.”
Taskin also praised his spinners and other pacer. “I think all the bowlers bowled really well to take early initiative in the Test. Spinners led the charger with everyone else backing them well.”
He praised Nahid Rana for making the ball zip through. “He is a good omen for Bangladesh cricket. He is consistently bowling at around 145kph which indeed is a welcoming sign for us,” Taskin said
