As the Pakistan Medical and Dental College (PMDC) announced the date for medical examinations across the country, doubts rose once again about the integrity of the exams, given numerous past incidents involving cheating. In Sindh, the problem of cheating in medical exams keeps cropping up despite different universities being chosen to conduct the exams. Right now, there are grave rumours circulating about paper leaks and mafias offering answers for a price. This reflects a sad state of affairs, demoralizing many hardworking students. I urge the PMDC and the Sindh government to ensure transparency and eradicate these mafias jeopardizing the futures of thousands of honest students.
