WASHINGTON: Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh on Friday presented a copy of credentials as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States.
Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Horst were present during the traditional ceremony at the US Department of State.
In his remarks on the occasion, Ambassador Sheikh looked forward to contributing to cementing Pak-US bilateral ties to the best of his abilities. To that end, he particularly emphasized the significance of enhancing the frequency of high-level interaction, economic linkages and people to people contacts between the two countries.
