A handout said it was a long-awaited issue and the increase was formally approved by the KP cabinet. The rise in royalties’ amount honoured a commitment made by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan at a public meeting in July 2018.
Meanwhile, Minister for Agriculture Muhammad Sajjad congratulated the people of Karak on behalf of the KP government. He said the residents of the Kohat Division were grateful to the chief minister for the step.
