KARACHI: Pakistan State Oil (PSO), in partnership with the government of Gilgit-Baltistan, has launched the groundbreaking ‘Blue LPG Initiative’ to revolutionize the energy sector.
Chief Minister for Information in Gilgit-Baltistan Eman Shah and Managing Director and CEO of PSO Syed Muhammad Taha were among the participants at the event. The ceremony also saw the presence of other regional dignitaries.
The initiative promises a range of benefits, including direct delivery of LPG to the end consumer, ensuring quality, convenience and availability. The initiative also features competitive pricing in line with Ogra regulations, offering a seamless customer experience with easy ordering and prompt delivery.
According to the company, customers will be able to access services through a mobile app and web platform, with LPG provided in safe, lightweight and modern composite cylinders. By setting up a nationwide utility company, PSO aims to extend energy access to 100 per cent of the population, with a focus on efficient last-mile delivery.
Leading this energy transformation, PSO is harnessing technology and innovation to build a sustainable future. The first phase of the initiative has begun in central Hunza, providing eco-friendly and safe energy solutions. PSO seeks to build on community trust and support to enhance energy access for generations to come.
