Bailiff recovers 4 children from cattle shed of landlord

GUJRANWALA: On the order of Additional Sessions Judge Shahzada Masood, a bailiff on Tuesday recovered four children from a cattle shed of a landlord at Khabeki.

Razia Bibi of Aroop filed a petition in which she stated that her husband Muhammad Asghar received advance money from accused landlord Ch Muhammad Aslam for working in his fields. She said that her husband became ill and was not able to work. She alleged that the accused landlord took her children, Nadeem, 18, Parveen, 16, Sabir, 12, and Babar, 9, with him and locked them in a room of his cattle shed. At this, the bailiff raided and recovered all four children.

BAIL GRANTED: Anti-Terrorism Court No 2 Judge Bushra Zaman on Tuesday granted bail to PML-N Wazirabad tehsil president Ejaz Proya in a double murder case.

The accused got bail in the double murder case of Faryad and Shan Masih who were murdered during by-election in NA-101, Wazirabad, on March 23, 2016.

MAN INJURED: A man was injured when a stray dog bit him here on Tuesday.

Shafiq of Pasrur Road was on his way home when a stray dog attacked him and injured him badly. He was rushed to the DHQ Hospital.
