‘A stable Pakistan can have better ties with China, US’
Habib Khan stressed strong home governance and financial self-sufficiency
ISLAMABAD: A former federal minister has said that a stable and autonomous Pakistan, anchored in effective governance, is a critical determinant of the success of diplomatic initiatives and the strength of Pakistan-China relationships.
Addressing a convention, “US-China Strategic Competitors: Choices for Pakistan”, former interior minister Malik Habib Khan highlighted the need to focus on domestic sphere.
The convention was convened by Engineer Javed Mahmood Bukhari, Rector of the Nationwide College of Science & Know-how (NUST) and Patron of the Nationwide Institute of Coverage Research (NIPS), here on Thursday. Ambassadors, intellectuals and other personalities participated in the convention.
Habib Khan stressed strong home governance and financial self-sufficiency for better bilateral engagements with China and the US.
