Husband of Karsaz accident accused gets protective bail
The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday granted protective bail to businessman Danish Iqbal, husband of a woman who is charged with killing a man and his daughter with her car in Karsaz.
Iqbal had approached the court for obtaining protective bail in the Karsaz incident case, in which his wife is nominated as the main accused. His counsel Aamir Mansoob Qureshi said his client has nothing to do with the offence but apprehends being arrested.
Qureshi requested the court to grant his client protective bail so that he can surrender before the trial court and face the charges, if any, against him.
The SHC granted protective bail to the applicant for seven days, and directed him to approach the trial court for further proceedings in accordance with the law.
Iqbal’s wife had rammed into some vehicles, and killed Imran Arif and his daughter Amna on August 19. The accused is already in prison to face her trial.
