August 30, 2024
This letter refers to the news report ‘Balochistan bleeds’ (August 27, 2024). There is no doubt that the violence and terrorism in Balochistan is highly condemnable and every citizen is worried about these attacks. The province of Balochistan as many know is home to many different communities and these communities co-exist peacefully.
The authorities need to ensure security in the province and protect the lives of its people. Policymakers must take all stakeholders into confidence and devise effective strategies to promote peace in Balochistan.
