ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has moved a summary to the prime minister to summon a joint sitting of parliament next week.
Official sources said the joint session is likely to be summoned to meet most probably on Wednesday (September 04).
The joint sitting under Article 70(3) of the Constitution will take up passage of dozens of bills which were okayed by either house of parliament and not passed by the other within 90 days.
However, the joint session cannot take any bill on any constitutional amendment.
