DIG visits PIMS to inquire after injured officer

Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police (Headquarters), Syed Mustafa Tanveer, visited PIMS hospital and met with injured Constable Sami Ullah, a public relations officer said.

He said that, DIG Headquarters met with doctors and received a briefing on the injured officer's health. He issued directives for the better treatment of the injured officer. DIG Headquarters expressed pride in constable Sami Ullah, calling him a hero and emphasising that he is a lion of ours. He praised the officer for his dedication to protecting the lives and property of citizens without concern for his own safety. He further said that these officers are like family to us, and all police officers will be equally cared for.
