ISLAMABAD: The federal government has made a further adjustment to the nomination of Grade 20 officers for the mandatory National Management Course (NMC) required for promotion to Grade 21.
The nomination of Tariq Mahmood, Joint Secretary of the Human Rights Division, from the Secretariat Group, has been cancelled and replaced by Muhammad Hafeezullah, Director General of P&L at Railways Headquarters, Lahore. The Establishment Division has notified the Rector of the National School of Public Policy about this change.
In addition, the federal government has made several postings and transfers. Muhammad Firdous, previously Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, has been reassigned as Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Planning and Development.
Jahanzeb Patafi, formerly Deputy Secretary of the Establishment Division, will now serve as Deputy Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office (Public).
Muhammad Naeem Saleem, Deputy Secretary of the Interior Division, has also been transferred to the Deputy Secretary position at the Prime Minister’s Office (Public). All three of the Grade 19 deputy secretaries are from the Secretariat Group.
Moreover, the services of Nadir Shehzad Khan, a Grade 17 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service awaiting appointment in the Establishment Division, have been assigned to the Sindh government. The Establishment Division has issued official notifications on these postings and transfers.
