ISLAMABAD: Test of machinery and equipment has started at the Gwadar International Airport.
Preparations for a grand opening of the airport are underway. An FBR spokesperson said that ultramodern equipment would be used for customs clearance.
The facility is currently not available at the Gwadar port or the present airport. The airport will accommodate ATR 72, Airbus A-300, Boeing B-737 and Boeing B-747 aircraft for both domestic and international routes.
