MANSEHRA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz central senior vice-president MNA Sardar Mohammad Yousuf on Tuesday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wanted to deprive the opposition lawmakers of their development funds.

“The PTI incumbent government is following the policies of its previous government and has withheld opposition lawmakers’ funds depriving people of their constituencies of their civic and basic rights,” he told a public gathering in the Sarbori Bugermung area. Sardar Yousuf said that the opposition parties had moved the Peshawar High Court in the PTI previous government against withholding of development funds and the court had ruled in their favour.

“We will approach the court of law again If funds are not released this time,” he added. He said that the PTI chief minister and its lawmakers were following fascist politics. “PTI chief minister and its lawmakers have been promoting politics of hatred to hide their own failure in addressing core issues in the province,” the MNA said.
