Islamabad : A gang of armed dacoits looted a cash van of a commercial bank on Tuesday in the jurisdiction of Shahzad Town police station, police said.
The police said that the cash van was heading to any other commercial bank after picking the cash from the bank but a gang of armed robbers intercepted the van and held the security guards of the agency and looted the cash which has not been mentioned by the bank authorities from where the cash was lifted. The police sources claimed that looted cash could be in millions, adding that the bank management has not lodged any complaint with the police station. The police authorities have taken up the case and initiated investigation to ascertain the facts.
