LAHORE : IGP Punjab released scholarships worth more than Rs9 million for hundreds of students studying in various degree programmes in educational institutions of various districts, including Lahore. More than Rs6.91m were given to 1,143 students studying in BS Honors.
PhD degrees
PU has awarded PhD degrees to five of its scholars. According to details, Hina Maqbool has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of Sociology, Ejaz Ahmed in Philosophy, Shahid Rehman in Polymer Technology, Syed M Shahid Hussain in Chemical Engineering and M Amer Raza in Communication Studies.
LLB papers’ re-conduct
In continuation of the date sheet of LLB (Five-Year) Part-II Annual Examination 2024, the Punjab University department of examinations has notified that the Re-Conduct of Paper 1 English-II (New Course 2023) and Paper I English-II has been scheduled on 09-09-2024.
