Governor assures family of raped and murdered girl of justice

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori went to the Chhipa Foundation’s morgue on Monday deliver the body of 12-year-old Ganga, found in the Lucky Star garbage dump in the Saddar area, to her family.

During his visit, he met with Ganga’s grieving parents, expressed his condolences, and assured them of his full support. The governor described the incident as extremely tragic and conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

He emphasized that no effort would be spared until those responsible were apprehended. He also spoke to the additional inspector general of Karachi, who assured him that the culprits would soon face justice. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the perpetrators of the heinous crime were held accountable swiftly.

In a statement to the media, Tessori highlighted the necessity of justice for minorities, asserting that no one should escape the law. He urged Sindh’s inspector general of police to make this case an example, ensuring that those involved in such heinous acts were brought to justice quickly.

Additionally, the governor provided financial assistance to the affected family and took responsibility for their support. He also arranged all necessary logistics for the transportation of the body of the deceased to the family’s native village. The bereaved family expressed their gratitude to the governor's firm support and cooperation in their case.
