LAHORE:The Lahore General Hospital (LGH) administration sacked 10 employees for being continuously absent from official duties and neglecting their responsibilities.
The termination notices have been issued to them individually. These dismissed employees were found guilty of lack of interest in duties and continuous absence from duty, on which they were dismissed after departmental inquiry and rules and regulations.
In this regard, AMS Administration Dr Adnan Masood said that the dismissed employees were given the opportunity of hearing before their dismissal, but they failed to give a satisfactory explanation.
MS Dr Faryad Hussain said that there is no place in the LGH for employees, who do not serve the ailing humanity. He said the administration is continuously monitoring the attendance and performance of the employees in all three shifts. He instructed that the employees should observe discipline and treat the patients with respect and dignity.
