ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court took exception to the insensitivity of government institutions in the recovery case of PTI social media activist Azhar Mashwani’s two missing brothers.

In the order, the court observed that it has lost hope that the country’s chief executive will pay any attention to the case.

Islamabad High Court Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb has issued a written order on the petition for the recovery case of Mashwani’s missing brothers.

The court observed in the order that the additional attorney general said that the attorney general was expected to meet the prime minister on the matter. It said it has lost hope that the country’s chief executive would pay any attention to the case.

The IHC further observed that indifference on the part of the authorities in this matter is deplorable. It said partial arguments of the petitioner’s counsel have been made in the case and directed the office to fix the case before the available bench for the next hearing on August 27.
