Terrorists attacked police with hand grenades and heavy weapons in Taunsa Sharif, prompting police to retaliate

LAHORE: The Punjab Police on Saturday thwarted another terrorist attack in Taunsa Sharif, Dera Ghazi Khan, killing two terrorists.
According to the police spokesperson, four terrorist attacks on check posts along the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border have also been foiled.
The terrorists attacked the police with hand grenades and heavy weapons in Taunsa Sharif, prompting the police to retaliate.
The retaliatory firing by the police eliminated two of the assailants. Wahwa Police SHO Sadiq Burmani and Constable Nazir sustained injuries during the exchange of fire. A bullet-proof police vehicle was damaged during the fight. The IGP Punjab has appreciated the police for showing bravery.
